ObjectiveTo investigate Interleukin-1β(IL-1β) and matrix metalloproteinases-9(MMP-9) levels in crevice fluid around microscrew anchorage, and to explore whether they can reflect condition of periimplant tissue.To investigate bone density around microscrew,and to compare the bone changes before and after implanting microscrew anchorage.MethodsTwenty-one oral orthotic patients were selected and performed supragingival scaling and scanned jaws CT before implantation microscrew anchorage.1、Crevice fluid around microscrew anchorage was collected, at l,4,12weeks respectively after implantation.The samples were divided into unstable group (n=8) and stable group(n=30) according to condition of periimplant tissue.IL-1β and MMP-9were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay, the data was performed in statistical analysis by spss17.0.The difference between the expression level of IL-1β and MMP-9in the group was analysised in one-way ANOVA,and the one between groups was performed for t test.2、The subjects in stable group were scanned jaws CT again at12weeks,scan images were performed on3D reconstruction,and with image analysis software determination bone density around microscrews.The data was analysised statistically for paired t test.Results1、In unstable group IL-1β and MMP-9expression levels increased from1to12weeks after implantation (p<0.05) and were higher than in stable group4and12week after implantation (p<0.05). In stable group the expression levels of IL-1β is higher in1week.2、Bone mineral density difference are no statistical significance between0and12weeks when Microscrews were implanted in stable group (P>0.05).ConclusionThe high expression level of IL-1β and MMP-9after microscrews implanted a week later may related to early wound healing. Along with the load time increased,in unstable group IL-1β and MMP-9high expression may be due to periimplantis around microimplant.IL-1β and MMP-9levels may be related to the stability of microscrew anchorage, can reflect condition of periimplant tissue.Bone mineral density has no significant statistical differences before and after loading microscrew anchorage, indicating that the microscrews can be used widely as absolute resistance in clinic.
