Because of the domestic reforms and opening in recent years with the economy transform, people meet with the more and more work pressure, job burnout become people daily pursuit problem. To analyze the current situation and key influencing factors of job burnout of dentists. Effectively eliminate burnout of dentists can improve morale, promote utilization of human resources of stomatology hospitals.Using Chinese Maslach Burnout Invertory(CMBI) and multi-mode work (MMW) questionnaire as the evaluation indictor, sample survey on210doctors was conducted in seven public stomatology hospital. To analyze the current situation and key influencing factors of job burnout of dentists.Dentists suffering with job burnout, mainly focus on the dimension of depersonalization, otherwise have less complain on emotional exhaustion and reduced personal accomplishment. Three variables were found to have relationship with burnout, which include work environment and resource support, medical treatment, job characteristics and skills requirements. After controlling demographic variables, MMW can explain the variation of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal accomplishment up to50.2%,42.4%,31.6%respectively. Working environment, resources support and medical treatment have positive effect to the emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and reduced personal accomplishment. Otherwise job characteristics and skills have negative effect to the depersonalization.The change of the dentists’ multi-mode work can prevent and intervent job burnout. Therefore, this study proposed the prevention and intervention of job burnout conditions, and the related countermeasures in improving the work performance. To improve the cognition of job burnout of dentists and self psychological adjustment ability; To improve the management level of oral specialized hospitals and reduce the working stress sources; to strengthen occupational protection measures and reduce hospital infection rates; to promote actively outpatient service appointment system and decrease both doctors and patients pressures; to strengthen continuous education and improve profession quality od dentists; To establish a scientific performance evaluation system and create suitable environment for growth.
