Objective:To evaluate the efficiency and safety of the RFCA of atrial fibrillation(AF) guided by CARTO system. Methods:From March 2009 to September 2011,30 patients with paroxysmal atrial fibfllation(AF) and 4 with persistent/permanent AF treated by underwent circumferential pulmonary vein ablation (CPVA) additional ablation of lineal lesions and ablation of complex fractionated electrograms (CFE) guided by CARTO system. The main procedure end point is electrical isolation of PVS. Every case received oral anticoagulant(warfarin) and antiarrhythmic drugs for 3 months after ablation. ECG and Hother were applied 1,3,6 months after ablation. Results:All patients were successfully achieved the endpoint of ablation.1 patient recurrence atrial fibrillation.1 patient recurrence atrial tachycardia. There were no serious radiofrequency ablation-associated complications in all Patients. Conclusion:Circumferential pulmonary vein linear ablation guided by 3-D mapping system(CARTO system)was safe and effective for atrial fibrillation therapy.
