ObjectThe study tries to set up a simulation model with simulation pericementum. Onthe simulations model, the resistance to sliding of conventional brackets andself-ligating brackets were tested, to analysis the patient with crowded to choose whattype of brackets with which type of archwires is the best match to the silk. Toevaluation the resistance to sliding on misplaced canine teeth, whether it accords withthe theory "the most suitable orthodontic force", and guides the clinical application.Method1、Building a new testing model. Take the advantage of epoxide resin’s property, amodel was made, in which the Youth module proportion of tooth, pericementumand alveolar bone was in accordance with the somatic data.2、On the simulations model, the resistance to sliding of OPA-K conventionalbrackets, Tomy active self-ligating brackets and Damon passive self-ligatingbrackets were tested when they combined with different contact angles anddifferent types of archwires.3、Compared with the resistance to sliding of misplaced canine teeth were testedwhen OPA-K conventional brackets, Tomy active self-ligating brackets andDamon passive self-ligating brackets were matched different types of Ni-Tiarchwires.Result1、When the same type of malocclusion matched any one archwire, the resistance tosliding arrange from high to low: OPA-K brackets is the highest, next is Tomybrackets, and Damon brackets the lowest.2、When there was no difference in the material of archwire, the resistance willincrease as the cross-sectional area increased. But in this study, the RS of the0.019×0.025 inch rectangular archwire was the least one.3、When there was no different in malocclusion with increased the diameter ofarchwire, the recruitment of the resistance to sliding of Tomy brackets is graterthan the Damon.4、Whether they are conventional brackets, active self-ligating brackets, or passive self-ligating brackets, the resistance to sliding is increased along with the contactangle increases gradually.5、When the cross-sectional area of arch wire is larger, the recruitment of theresistance to sliding is increase more and more with the contact angle increased. The recruitment of the resistance to sliding of Tomy brackets is grater than theDamon.Conclusion1、During any orthodontic phase, the friction resistance of self-ligating bracketssignificant lower than conventional bracket, the friction resistance of passiveself-ligating bracket is significant lower than active self-ligating bracket.2、The resistance to sliding of passive self-ligating bracket is the lowest one. WhenDamon passive self-ligating combined with the 0.019×0.025 inch rectangulararchwire, the resistance to sliding will decrease to a satisfactory level in favor ofteeth movement. The resistance to sliding of active self-ligating brackets is higherthan it in favor of the teeth on the 3D control.3、Whether they are conventional brackets, active self-ligating brackets, or passiveself-ligatingis, the resistance to sliding is increased along with the contact angleincreases gradually. According to the different malocclusion and different types ofbrackets, we can choose appropriate types of the arch wire in order to meet theoptimal orthodontic force beyond physiological range.
