Today, there are a number researches and applications of new antibacterial drugs and materials. For example:light TiO2sterilization, metalion antibacterial quaternary ammonium salts and so on, Their antibacterial way belong to the antimicrobial mode of nanoparticles. Bioactive glass is an important material, which has antibacterial activity. With excellent biological activity, compatibility, antimicrobial, therefore, Bioactive Glass (BG) has great value and broad application prospect.42S,45S, S53P4,58S,77S several bioactive glass.45S5representative selected by the Institute in this article as the object of study. It is immersed in a liquid environment, the surface of a series of reactions, and finally a layer of human bone hydroxyapatite layer formed on the surface, closely integrated with human tissue cells. In this paper,45S5bioactive glass mixed Escherichia coli plate culture count, measured inhibition rate of5min,15min,30min,60min four time periods of inhibition rate of54.55%,58.72%,42.78%, found through experiments,55.95%, with a significant bactericidal effect. Then observe the sterilization process using transmission electron microscopy, found that disruptive45S5and its surface debris in contact with the bacterial cell membrane structure, leading to bacterial death;45S5fragments into bacterial cells and intracellular material role, leading to bacterial death; by observing also found both at the same time the role of the phenomenon.
