ObjectivePreliminary observation on the clinical therapeutic effect, safety of perimenopausal depression with "acupuncture method of soothing liver qi, regulating spirit and tonifying kidney qi".The research content and methodsTo get random Numbers with the PEMS3.1package. According to the clinical criteria and time order, random group was assigned corresponding the serial number on the envelope. Finally,68cases was randomly divided into two groups:35cases of treatment group, using "acupuncture method of soothing liver qi, regulating spirit and tonifying kidney qi " method, as is to say, acupuncture unilateral Lie Que, Zhao Hai, unilateral He Gu, Tai Chong, Bai Hui, Yin Tang, moxibustion on Qi Hai, Guan Yuan, Shen Shu, Yong Quan and Xin Shu, Gan Shu or Xin Shu, Shen Shu with intradermal imbedding needle alternately. To retain needles for30minutes conventionally, moxibustion with5moxa cones on every point each time and2times per week, two interval times are more than48hours.33cases of the control group, taking Nilestriol tablet orally (2mg/each tablet), once every two weeks, one tablet each time,1-2mg each time and2times a month with symptoms improving, after12weeks, To evaluat clinical curative effect of the two groups with HAMD scale and KMI scale and computate effective rate due to HAMD deducted rate.6months later after treatment, to know the recurrence rate through telephone interview. Appiying EpiData3.1to design input framework, and then data importing in SPSS18.0package. Finally, data management and analysis was carried. Intra-group comparesion of measurement data with Paired-Sample T test, Inter-group comparesion o with the independent-sample T test; chi-square test was used in enumeration data. if the baseline show difference, Analysis Covariance is a right option, curative effect was expressed with rate and constituent ratio. Inspection level was0.05.Results1. The difference of two groups patients was not statistically significant (P>0.05) in age, severity of illness, indicating the baseline level of two consistent.2.35patients in treatment group, recovered in4,15cases were markedly improved,11effective and5invalid patients. The recovery rate was54.29%, significantly better than the21.21%of Nilestriol group. The totaleffective rate was85.71%, and69.70%of Nilestriol group, and the difference was not statistically significant, indicating that the two groups are both used for treatment of perimenopausal depression.3. After treatment, a month later after that, HAMD and KMI scores of two groups decreased obviously after treatment, indicating Intra-group comparesion of each group was statistical significance (P<0.05)4. After treatment, a month later after that, HAMD scores of acupuncture treatment group were13.60±4.10、13.80±3.05, obviously lower than Nilestriol group (P<0.05), prompting the acupuncture treatment group in the lower HAMD scores, is obviously superior to Nilestriol group, and after treatment, certain curative effect can be maintained still.5. After treatment, KMI rscores of acupuncture treatment group were14.43±3.93, and Nilestriol group with15.21±3.48, no obvious difference exist (P>0.05), suggests that both groups can improve perimenopausal depression in patients with some vasomotor symptoms; a month later after treatment, KMI scores of two groups were12.31±1.62、14.88±2.61, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), prompting the acupuncture treatment group is still lower with KMI scores in the end of treatment, especially maintain certain effect.6.6months later after therapy, recurrence rate was counted.4recurrentCases in the treatment group, the recurrence rate was11.43%, lower than the33.33%of Nilestriol group, the difference was statistically significant (x2=4.74, P=0.03)Conclusion1."Acupuncture method of soothing liver qi, regulating spirit and tonifying kidney qi" can effectively relieve patients perimenopausal symptoms of depression, in the total effective rate and lower KMI scores, are equal to Nilestriol group.2. In the lower HAMD scoring,"Acupuncture method of soothing liver qi, regula-ting spirit and tonifying kidney qi" is better than the Nilestriol group.3. In the middle-long-term outcome, Acupuncture method of soothing liver qi, regulating spirit and tonifying kidney qi" is better than the Nilestriol group.
