| Objective:To comprehend the people’s Audiological Features of pastoral areas of Qinghai Plateau and Qinling Mountain, Comparison between them and the people fo Nanjing, Analyze them and evaluate their differences. Discuss the impact of environment, customs and personal habits, and provide theoretical guidance for Prevention and treatment for the noise-induced hearing loss and age-related hearing loss.Method:Random sampling questionnaires are prepared for the three place, with ear examination and hearing test, we studied the basic information of their hearing both horizontal and vertical. Results:With the increase of age, Members of the hearing threshold increased gradually, and first from the high-frequency then extended to low-frequency.The undetectable rate in the older group were significantly higher than the young group, however, the undetectable rate in the plateau and mountain areas were higher than urban residents in Nanjing. Compared with the same age groups, better hearing level were had with urban residents in Nanjing than the other two, this difference increases with age. Conclusion:There was no correlation found in hearing changes with altitude hypoxia. Exposure to intense impulse noise caused sudden and life-long hearing loss. Within the stimulation of the city’s general noise, we found it was not an absolute factor of hearing loss, but to some extent may be delayed the decline in hearing. |
