Objective:To study the clinical significance of serum anti-Titin antibodies andAcetylcholine receptor antibodies test in patients with myasthenia gravis(MG).Methods:We detected anti-Titin antibodies and anti-AchR antibodies with enzymelinked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in the sera from90cases of MG groups and30cases of control groups. Results:The positive rate of Titin-Ab(76.7%) and AchR-Ab (54.5%)is significantly higher than those of control groups. There was no significantdifference in the positive rate of Titin-Ab and AchR-Ab between the male group andthe female group. The positive rates of Titin-Ab were significantly higerly inMGT(80.0%) and late-onset MG(72.5%) subgroups than in the early-onset MGsubgroup(40.0%). The positive rate of two kinds antibodies of systemic MG patientswere higher than these of ocular MG patients. There was no significant difference inthe positive rate of Titin-Ab and AchR-Ab between MG with hyperthyroidismpatients and MG without hyperthyroidism patients. The sensitivities of Titin-Ab andAchR-Ab of MG patients were54.5%and76.7%, The sensitivities of parallel testwas89.4%.Conclusion1、The positive rate of Titin-Ab and AchR-Ab is significantly higher thanthose of control groups.(P<0.05);2、The more serious condition of MG was, thehigher positive rate of Titin-Ab and AchR-Ab were.3、The positive rates of Titin-Abwere significantly higerly in MGT and late-onset MG subgroups than in theearly-onset MG subgroup.4、Titin-Ab and AchR-Ab can be used as indicators of thediagnosis of MG. Testing for a combination of Titin-Ab and AchR-Ab gives thehigher sensitivity for the detection of MG than each antibody alone.5、Titin-Ab andAchR-Ab of MG patients has no correlation.
