| Purpose:To compare the clinical effect on using posterolateral short invasive withconventional incision in THA.Methods:A total of46cases were randomly divided into two groups,23cases weretreated with short incision, the others underwent conventional THA. Both of the twogroup use posterolateral approach. Evaluations included length of incision, operationtime, perioperative blood loss, early excessive, complications, radiological outcomesand postoperative Harris scores. Results:There were significant differences in incision length, the operation time, perioperative blood loss and the length of time when complications, and postoperativeHarris score were comparable. Conclusion:Compared with the conventional, the short incisive in THA from posteroplateralapproach had the advantage of mini invasion, slight hemorrage, fewer complication. However, strict attention should be paid to operative indications. |
