Objective:To research the characteristic changes of resting functional connect-ivity and structural connectivity and the relationship between them of DMN in MSpatients,MRI technology including rfMRI,fcMRI,DTI-FT was Applied to MS patientscompared with healthy subjects.Method:27MS patients and27healthy volunteers(matched to the patients inage and gender)as controls were selected to participate in this study. These patientshave been clinically diagnosed as MS in our hospital. All the subjects were underwent3.0T MRI scanning to obtain the primary data of anatomy,rfMRI and DTI.Then wrotedown the duration of MS,counted the number of MS lesion, gave a mark ofEDSS.Data Pre-Processing and Post-Processing,the picture of resting functionalconnectivity and structural connectivity of DMN and the r value,mFA value,mLvalue,MD value were handled and obtained by the softwares such asDPARSF,SPM8,REST,MICA,TrackVis.Then do the statistical analysis of thesevalues.Result:The DMN space pattern of the MS patients largely included the samebrain areas of controls, but with specific difference in the connectivity strength withrespect to that of controls.Particularly, the patient group showed increased DMNconnectivity in the mPFC, but decreased DMN connectivity in the mTLs andPCC.The r value,mFA value of DMN in MS patients was decreased compared withcontrols, there was significant differences between two groups(p<0.05),the mL valueof DMN in MS patients was also decreased, but there was no significant differencesbetween two groups(p>0.05);The MD value of DMN in MS patients was increasedcompared with controls, there was significant differences between PCC and mTL oftwo group(p<0.05),but no significant differences between PCC and mPFC(p>0.05).rvalue and mFA value had correlation;the duration of MS,the number of MS lesion, themark of EDSS had no correlation with r value,mFA value,MD value. Conclusion:The functional Connectivity and Structural Connectivity were bothdecreased of DMN in MS patients compared with the controls. The injury of Structural Connectivity was the Structural base of the decrease of functional Connec-tivity.the duration of MS,the number of MS lesion, the mark of EDSS had nocorrelation with functional Connectivity and Structural Connectivity in DMN of MS.
