Objective:To investigate the relationship between lymph nodes metastasis and clinicopathological factors of gastric cancer through analysis of patient’s gender、age、tumor size、tumor site、histological growth pattern、tumor macroscopic type、depth of invasion、number of involved lymph nodes、ratio of involved to resected lymph nodes by SPSS software.Methods:Selected181patients with gastric cancer who were diagnosed by gastroscopic and pathological results before operation and received operation in the department of general surgery in Qi Lu Hospital of Shandong University during January2010to October2011. Collected several clinico-pathological factors, including patient’s gender、age、tumor size、tumor site、histological growth pattern、tumor macroscopic type、depth of invasion、number of involved lymph nodes、ratio of involved to resected lymph nodes. Analyzed the influcing clinicopathological factors of lymph node metastasis of gastric cancer through the application of SPSS software. Results:There were statistically significant difference between the number and ratio of involved lymph nodes of gastric cancer and tumor size, tumor site、histological growth pattern、tumor macroscopic type、depth of invasion(P<0.05).Conclusion:The number and ratio of involved lymph nodes of gastric cancer are related to tumor size、tumor site、histological growth pattern、 tumor macroscopic type、depth of invasion, which could be used to guide the scope of lymph node dissection in operation and evaluate the prognosis.
