Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Vascular Dementiaby The Acupuncture Therapy Of Benefitingintelligence And Regulating Spirit

Objective:The subject from the acupuncture point of view,selection of acupuncture acupuncture therapy of Benefiting intelligence and regulating spirit-based vascular dementia(VD),through the observation on acupuncture for treatment of the clinical effect of VD to explore effective means of treatment of VD in order to provide a clinical reliable and effective treatment.Methods:Radomly divided the60cases met the inclusion criteria of VD into acupuncture group and drug group,each group30cases.Acupuncture group were treated with acupuncture therapy of Benefiting intelligence and regulating spirit (Baihui point,Sishencong point,Fengchi point,Neiguan point,Shenmen point,Yongquan point),and drug group were treated with Donepezil Hydrochloride Tablets.Before and after treatment,using internationally recognized diagnostic criteria and objective curative effect standard,all Patients received ADL, CDR, MMSE and other scales the results of scales score changes were analyzed statistically.Results:After treatment, the scale score changes are significant both in acupuncture group and drug group, improvement in acupuncture group was better than the drug group.The therapeutic index about cognitive function, activity of daily living and TCM Syndromes are significant both in acupuncture group and drug group,improvement in acupuncture group was better than the drug group.Conclusion:Both acupuncture therapy of Benefiting intelligence and regulating spirit and Donepezil Hydrochloride Tablets therapy are effective in patients with VD.Acupuncture therapy of Benefiting intelligence and regulating spirit is superior to Donepezil Hydrochloride Tablets therapy about cognitive function, activity of daily living and TCM Syndromes.
