Objective:To study the Parkinson’s disease of substantia nigra neuronal metabolites and iron content change characteristics, assessment substantia nigra1H-MRS and VEN-BOLD detection in the diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease. Methods:This study include30patients with Parkinson’s disease, male24, female6cases,43to75years, mean58.97±10.34years. The normal control group20, the age from51years to71years, mean55±7.7years. All parkinson’s disease patients with Mini-Mental State examination table, a revision of the HOEHN&YAHR(H-Y) grading and unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS) assessment. All of subiects were examined with3D multi-voxel1H-MRS scan and VEN-BOLD scan, Obtain the substantia nigra metabolites relative ratio(NAA/Ci、NAA/Cho、Cho/Cr、NAA/(Cr+Cho)); to measurement of bilateral substantia nigra signal value in the VEN-BOLD sequence reconstruction map (said iron content). Then carries on the comparative analysis:1, the normal control group of bilateral substantia nigra metabolites, VEN-BOLD value;2, Parkinson’s disease group and normal control group of substantia nigra metabolites, VEN-BOLD value;3, Parkinson’s disease group of contralateral limb and ipsilateral limb substantia nigra metabolites, VEN-BOLD value;4, The H-Y graded mild (1+1.5) group and the symptoms heveier (2) group of Parkinson’s disease substantia nigra metabolites, VEN-BOLD value.Results:1, Normal control group bilateral substantia nigra NAA/Cr, NAA/Cho, NAA/(Cho+Cr) and VEN-BOLD had obvious difference(P<0.05), Cho/Cr had no obvious difference (P>0.05).2, Parkinson’s disease group and normal control group substantia nigra NAA/Cr, NAA/Cho, NAA/(Cho+Cr) and VEN-BOLD had obvious difference (P<0.05), Cho/Cr had no obvious difference(P>0.05).3, Parkinson’s disease group limb contralateral and limb ipsilateral substantia nigra NAA/Cr, NAA/Cho, NAA/(Cho+Cr) and VEN-BOLD had obvious difference(P<0.05), Cho/Cr had no obvious difference (P>0.05).4, The H-Y graded mild group and the symptoms heveier group of Parkinson’s disease substantia nigra NAA/Cr, NAA/Cho, NAA/(Cho+Cr) had obvious difference(P<0.05), the Cho/Cr, VEN-BOLD had no obvious difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:1、The normal bilateral substantia nigra metabolites and VEN-BOLD value of asymmetry; Parkinson’s disease and the normal human substantia nigra metabolites had difference, increase the iron content; Parkinson’s disease limb contralateral and limb ipsilateral substantia nigra metabolites had difference, increase the iron content; the H-Y graded mild group and the symptoms heveier group of Parkinson’s disease substantia nigra metabolites had difference, the iron content had no obvious change;2,The substantia nigra1H-MRS and VEN-BOLD has the important significance in the diagnosis and the severity assessment of Parkinson’s disease.
