Effects Of EGCG Combined With Taxol On The Proliferation And Apoptosis Of Human Lung Cancer Cell Line A549

Objective: To screen To study the effect and possible mechanism ofEGCG combined with taxol on the proliferation and apoptosis of humanlung cancer cell line A549.Methods: The effect on cell viability of EGCG and taxol wereexamined by cell colony formation assay，cell proliferation inhibition wasexamined by WST-1assay，the apoptosis of cells were examined by Heochst33342test, the apoptosis rates were examined by flow cytometry, and theGRP78expression was examined by Western blot.Results: EGCG and taxol either alone or combined inhibited theproliferation and induced apoptosis of human lung cancer cell lineA549．The combination of two drugs was obviously more effective than thatof the drug alone（P<0.05).Conclusions: EGCG and taxol could inhibit proliferation and induceapoptosis of A549cells and up-regulate the expression of GRP78．EGCGand taxol have synergistic effect on lung cancer cell line A549proliferationinhibition.
