Object:It is a research aimed at fifty-two senile patients suffered from Postoperative Colorectal Cancer who accepted a six-months therapy using chemotherapy treatment and decoction. Treatment evaluation would be acquired through observing several different indexes of those patients. Methods:Patients were divided into two groups named control group and therapy group at random. The former accepted chemotherapy treatment (FOLFOX4) and decoction (Fupiyichang Decoction), and the latter only accepted chemotherapy treatment (FOLFOX4). Tumor indicators (CEA), symptoms, quality of life and side effects would be recorded during the whole therapeutic process. Results:Significant differences were founded between two groups in tumor indicators (CEA), symptoms, quality of life and most side effects. But little differences were founded in Glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase.Glutamic-pyruvic transaminase and pain.Conclusions:1.The association of FOLFOX4and Fupiyichang Decoction could reduce the level of CEA.2.The association of FOLFOX4and Fupiyichang Decoction could significantly alleviate symptoms and enhance the quality patients’life.3. Fupiyichang Decoction could reduce side effects caused by FOLFOX4.
