The medical history of T2DMpatients were collected and compared between their relatives with or without mentaldisorder. And the correlations between the risk factors and anxiety or depression werealso analysised.Result: The incidence of anxiety and depression of the relatives were31.4%and17.6%.The satisfaction was significantly lower whereas their patients’fasting glucose levelswere significantly higher in the relatives who with mental disorder compared with whowithout. The higher cost and the multiple methods for the treatment of T2DM werepositive correlated with the SAS and SDS score of the relatives. Conclusion: There were high incidence and lower satisfaction in the relatives of T2DMpatients. Control the blood glucose and reduce the cost and methods of treatment forT2DM may useful for improving the metal condition and the satisfaction of life of therelatives of T2DM.
