Objective auditory steady-state response(ASSR) is one of the severe hearing lossunderwent diagnostic preoperative routine examination, one has a good assessment of theeffect of residual hearing. The neural response telemetry is an objective test to recordedelectrically evoked auditory nerve compound action potentials,be applied to cochlearimplantation surgery in the detection and postoperative boot,be used to determine theimportant reference standard of the eletrical stimulation thershold and maximal stimulusthershold.By analyzing the test results of cases of Australian cochlear implantrecipients, investigate the correlation between preoperative ASSR and postoperativeneural response telemetry..Methods Analysis during April2005-2011in our hospital cochlear implantation in25cases of Australian cochlear impalnt recipients in the frequency500HZ、1KHZ、2KHZ、4KHZ the ASSR test results, then select a month after surgery,3months,6months, that is the boot,to debug selected the5,10,15,20electrode line neuralresponse telemetry(NRT).Determination of the ASSR,the electrically evoked auditorynerve compound action potentials(ECAP),the subjective threshold(T-levels) andsubjective maximum comfortable intensity(C-levels).Datais dicided into two groupsbefore surgery ear ASSR in500Hz and2000Hzwith or without leads. One of the two orboth can lead be divided inti group A,two frequencies are not drawn for groupB.Compare two sets of20and10channel of the subjective NRT tjreshold results, thestatistic alanalysis.Results1.Postoperative hearing threshold of hearing debugging results: A month after surgery and three months, six months, T thershold in the20-channel of A group respectively for149.42dB,150.70dB,151.89dB.In10-channel respectively for157.24dB,158.53dB,159.75dB.T thershold in the20-channel of B group respectively for151.12dB,151.84dB,153.25dB,In10-channel were158.69dB,161.20dB,163.98dB.By SPASS13.0software using t-test analysis, found that a month aftersurgery and three months, six months in the channel10and20, the T valuesin group A lower than in groupB.There were significant differences betweenthe two group.2. Telephone follow-up results:As of the last telephone follow-up to February this year, there are12children in ordinary primary schools or kindergartens.13cases are stillin speech rehabilitation training schools, can be communication with theirfamilies.Family members are satisfied. Conclusion Multiple auditory steady-state evoked potentials inpreoperative and postoperative neural response telemetry has goodcorrelation, assessment of the postoperative hearing reaction. Can be usedas one of the intraoperative ear selection conditions.
