| ObjectivesHospital Performance Evaluation as the major means and basis to measure ahospital’s comprehensive performance become more and more importance for themanagements. And the studies of methods to evaluate the hospital’s comprehensiveperformance have emerged endlessly, related to any aspects of economics, sociologyand mathematical statistics. This article carry outs a comprehensive performanceevaluation of a hospital`s clinical department in Hefei city by The Balanced Score Cardcombing with the Weighted TOPSIS method on the basis of reference to research ofnations and abroad. In order to explore a method that can evaluate the performance ofhospital and it’s clinical departments efficiently, to provide the foundation for theevaluation of Hospital administrators.MethodsThis article mainly uses several ways as follows.(1) The choose of targets ofperformance evaluation. Apply the Literature survey method in major,primary found theperformance index of the hospital clinical department50numbers on basis of readinglots of domestic and foreign literature. Classifing and composing these indicators tomake of the survey according to the four principles of BSC.(2) The establishment of theperformance evaluation index system. Using the Delphi method and the AnalyticHierarchy Process in major. Invited fifteen experts from different departments, different positions to evaluate and filter the indicators and to assignment the weights of them asthe same time. Ultimately determine the performance evaluation index system of ahospital in Hefei through two rounds of filtering.(3) Data analysis methods. With thecollected index values of hospital clinical departments made into EXCEL spreadsheet,import the SAS8.1software,using SAS programs for TOPSIS method relatedprocessing and sorting analysis of the data.Results[1] The clinical department performance evaluation index system of a hospital inHefei. And the lowest one isneurosurgery,C value is equal0.34414.This result is consistent with the actual ofhospital performance operation.ConclusionsThe result of evaluation of hospital clinical performance by using the BalancedScore Card and Weighted TOPSIS methods is scientific and efficiency,which can widelyused in hospitals and clinical departments performance evaluation. |
