Clinical Research On Surgical Neck Of The Humerus Fracture Treated By Non-surgical Treatment And Surgical Treatment

Objective：To analyze and compare the therapeutic effect with humeral surgical neckof both non-surgical treatment and surgical treatment.Methods：From July2010to September2010,60patients with surgical neck ofhumerus fracture were divided into the A B two groups,30cases in A group and30casesin group B. Manipulative reduction with external splints fixation was administrated to thecases of group A, and, operation was administrated to the cases of group B. Thesepatients were followed up from6months to11months with an average time8.6months.Toobserve the general situation before treatment,and X-ray re-inspected regularly. To observethe surgical neck of humerus fracture healing and to check the recovery of limb functionafter operation.Results: All fractures both of group A and B reached bone healing after operation.The clinical results were evaluated with the Constant and Murley shoulder function score.In group A,13cases achieved excellent result,10good,3fair,2failure, with the excellentand good rate76.67%. In group B,5cases achieved excellent result,14good,9fair,2failure, with the excellent and good rate63.33%.Conclusion：The treatment effect of Manipulative reduction with external splintsfixation on Surgical Neck of the Humerus Fracture than operation can accelerate fracturehealing, reduce shoulder joint adhesions and the incidence of postoperative complications,and was better to recovery of shoulder function.
