1,6-anhydrohexopyranoses are unique amongst sugars. Here we report a new efficientmethod for the preparation of1,6-anhydro sugars using silica supported perchloricacid as a catalyst, acetonitrile as the solvent. This method is time-saving and thecatalyst is recoverable. Block copolymers have immense importance in thetransportation and release of drugs. Here with the conception of click chemistry, wesuccessfully prepare two block copolymers of cholatic acid.3. Synthesis of1,6-anhydro sugars4) Here we use silica supported perchloric acid instead of solid phase acid, and avoidthe formation of acid waste water. This is in accordance with the conception ofwaste minimization and has potential industrial value.5) With thirteen sugar substrates, we prepare eight1,6-anhydro sugars, which fullyshows the practicablility of this method in the synthesis of1,6-anhydro sugars.6) This method can be used to prepare1,6-anhydromanno sugar, and this makes thismethod so unique compared with others.4. Synthesis of block copolymer of cholatic acid3) We synthesize block copolymer of cholatic acid TM-1using click chemistry withthree synthons.4) Try four different synthesis methods, and finally prepare block copolymer ofcholatic acid TM-2, and prove that the reactivity of macromolecule is differentwith that of small molecule.
