Objective:to investigate TCM syndrome elements distribution of the chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients with proteinuria and the relation with gender, age and the amount of urinary protein, and to provide references for Chinese medicine clinical to CKD prot-einuria.Method:design the syndrome elements questionnaire and investigate the results of t-he four methods of diagnosis and related laboratory examination for201cases of CKD patients with proteinuria, and analyze the investigation results using the syndrome dialecti-cal method and statistical principles.Results:1. The syndrome elements of CKD patients with proteinuria is a combination of multi-location and multi-nature of disease, with the clinical manifestation mainly of deficiency-excess complication, and seldom appear in single sthenic syndrome or single asthenia syndrome.2. The overall research of disease location involving kidney, spleen, liver, lungs, hea-rt, kidney being the major location.3. The overall research of nature of disease mainly involving wet, phlegm, stagnation of the circulation of vital energy, heat and blood stasis, especially in wet; deficiency sy-ndrome mainly involving deficiency of vital energy, deficiency of yang, deficiency of blo-od and deficiency of yin, especially in deficiency of vital energy.4. The research is divided in groups by gender, age, with the results:the syndrome of each group in disease location all involving kidney, spleen, liver, lungs and heart, and kidney is the common disease location of each group; the st-henic syndrome of each gr oup all involving wet, phlegm, stagnation of the circulation of vital energy, heat and bloo d stasis, all with wet as the main sthenic syndrome; the asthe-nia syndrome of each grou p all involving deficiency of vital energy, deficiency of yang, deficiency of blood and de ficiency of yin, all with deficiency of vital energy as the main syndrome.5. The research result of the groups generally divided by gender but with same syn-drome:the accumulate points in the syndrome of spleen, liver and stagnation of the circ-ulation of vital energy, deficiency of vital energy, deficiency of yang, deficiency of blood and deficiency of yin of female patients are significantly higher than male patients (P<0.05).6. The research result of the groups generally divided by age but with same syndro-me:the accumulate points in disease location of liver and heart and in the nature of dis-ease of wet, stagnation of the circulation of vital energy and deficiency of yin in patients of50-60years age are significantly higher than other age groups (P<0.05). the accumula-te points in disease location of kidney and in the nature of disease of phlegm and defici-ency of yang in patients of70-80years old are significantly higher than other age groups (P<0.05).Conclusion:1. The center of CKD proteinuria in this study is a combination of multi-location and multi-nature of disease, and the dysfunction of kidney, spleen, liver, lungs and heart, whi ch leads to the roots of deficiency of vital energy, deficiency of yang, deficiency of blood and deficiency of yin and the symptoms of wet, phlegm, stagnation of the circulation of vital energy, heat, blood stasis, etc, and with a complex pathological process of deficiency-excess complication2. The accumulate points of female patients in disease location spleen, liver and the n ature of disease stagnation of the circulation of vital energy, deficiency of vital energy, d eficiency of yang, deficiency of blood and deficiency of yin are significantly higher than male patients; the accumulate points in disease location of liver and heart and in the nature of disease of wet, stagnation of the circulation of vital energy and deficiency of yin in patients of50-60years age are significantly higher than other age groups (P<0.05). the accumulate points in disease location of kidney and in the nature of disease of phlegm and deficiency of yang in patients of70-80years old are significantly higher than other age groups. This indicates that patients with CKD proteinuria have different emphasis in disease location and nature due to the different of age and gender.
