Research On The Pertinence Between Carotid Artery Augmentation Index(AI) And Data Detected By The Pulse Apparatus On Different Blood Pressure Levels

Objective:Explore the pertinence between the carotid artery augmentation index (AI) detected by applying the Wave Intensity method and data detected by the Pulse Apparatus, as well as sex, age, height, weight, BMI, hypertension levels and other clinical information correlation, for the purpose of judging the pulse parameter detected by the Pulse Apparatus on the assessment of arterial elasticity function, promoting the prevention of hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases and the research on Modernization of TCM.Methodologies:1.Collected138cases of carotid artery augmentation index (AI) detected by Wave Intensity detection, including86cases of essential hypertension and52cases of normal blood pressure group;2. Collected data detected by the Pulse Apparatus (Type:DDMX-100);3. Collected samples based on sex, age, height, weight, BMI, hypertension levels and other clinical information;4. Applied independent samples T test, multiple correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis with the collected data.Results:1st, With regards to essential hypertension group, adjusted the effects from Sex, Age, SBP, DBP, PP and BMI, the multiple correlation analysis showed that AI was positive correlation with t5, w2/t (rt5=0.225, p<0.05; r w2/t=0.230, p<0.05), negative correlation with h5, hs/h1, w2(r h5=-0.393, p<0.01; r h5/h1=-0.444,p<0.01; r w2=-0.389, p<0.01).2nd, Through the multiple correlation analysis for normal blood pressure group, adjusted the effects from Sex, Age, SBP, DBP and BMI, it is found that AI was positive correlation with t3, t4, t5, w1(rt3=0.595,p<0.01; rt4=0.292,p<0.05; rt5=0.318,p<0.05; rw1=0.541,p<0.01), negative correlation with h1, h2, h3, Ad, A (r h1=-0.368,p<0.05; rh2=-0.330,p<0.05; r h3=-0.327,p<0.05; r Ad=-0.322,p<0.05; r A=-0.410, p<0.01).3rd,Adjusted the effects from Sex, Age, SBP, DBP, PP and BMI, multiple correlation analysis on overall samples resulted in AI was positive correlation with t, t5, W1, w2/t (rt=0.257, p<0.01; rt5=0.266,;p<0.01; rwl=0.184, p<0.05; rw2/t=0.210, p<0.05), negative correlation with h5, h5/h1, w2, Ad (r h5=-0.230,p<0.01; rh5/h1=-0.218,p<0.05; r w2=-0.267,p<0.01; r Ad=-0.246, p<0.01).4th, Through the multiple stepwise regression analysis for essential hypertension group and control group, it is found that HDL、URIC、CREA and CK were independent influence factors of AI (p<0.01).5th, Using AI as dependent variable, t, t5, h5, h5/h1, W2, W2/t and Ad as independent variable, establish a multiple linear regression equation which shows that it is significant (multiple correlation coefficient R=0.549, coefficient of determination R2=0.301, Variance Analysis F=7.887, p<0.001).Conclusion:TG, CHOL, LDL, BUN, CREA and URIC, the abnormal values of the stated factors is likely to contribute to the occurrence of essential hypertension. It is found that HDL、URIC、 CREA and CK were independent influence factors of AI. Established a significant multiple linear regression equation on AI and the pulse data. The Pulse Apparatus has made great effort on improving the assessment of arterial elasticity function.
