Objective:To study the differential value of carcinoembryonic antigen, interferon-y and adenosine deaminase between tuberculous and malignant pleural effusions by detecting their expression in the pleural effusions. Methods:Selecting the70cases of pleural effusion, tuberculous pleural effusion in32cases and malignant pleural effusion in38cases. Respectively, the expression of carcinoembryonic antigen and interferon-y in the pleural effusions was examined by using ELISA; adenosine deaminase in the pleural effusions was examined by using colorimetric analysis. Results:Diagnosis of malignant pleural effusion CEA sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were76.32%,87.50%and81.43%; diagnosis of tuberculous pleural effusion ADA sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were78.13%,81.58%and80.00%; diagnosis of tuberculous pleural effusion INF-y sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were90.63%,97.37%and94.29%. Combined detection of malignant pleural effusion, sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were94.74%,96.88%and95.71%; of tuberculous pleural effusion, sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were93.75%,97.37%and95.71%.Conclusion:CEA, IFN-y and ADA are independently tested on three indicators of tuberculous and malignant pleural effusion is important and more useful combined detection of tuberculous and malignant pleural effusions diagnosis. |
