Object To study the characteristics of HRV analysis in children withVMC, discuss the value of HRV analysis in the clinical diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of children with VMC.Methods VMC group: collected between2003.01and2012.12inBethune First Hospital of Jilin University and through the period of thehistory, physical examination, ECG, DCG, Echo and X-ray, myocardialenzymes of laboratory clarify the diagnosis of VMC in children,a toatalof841cases, all the cases in accordance with the Chinese medicalassociation of pediatrics branch of cardiovascular committee of Chinesejournal pediatrics editorial board of1999clinical criteria for the diagnosisof VMC, all of the children are in acute stage, divided them into6groupsaccording to children’s age, the infant (0~1years old)48cases (male28cases, female20cases), the child care (≥1~3years old)104cases(male64cases, female40cases), the preschool age (≥3~6years old)219cases (male115cases, female104cases), the school-age (≥6~13years old)332patients (male181cases, female151cases), adolescent(≥13~18years old)138cases (male74cases, female64cases).Control group: Select the healthy children in the hospital for medicalexamination at same period, without affecting the autonomic nervous activity and did not take drugs that can affect the activity of theautonomic nervous, a total of509cases, the infant31cases(male17cases,female14cases), the child care61cases (male37cases, female24cases),the preschool age129cases (male67cases, female62cases),theschool age203cases (male111cases, female92cases), the adolescent85cases (male46cases, female39cases).The two groups are matched in ageand gender. The indicators are as follows:HRV time domain indexes:SDNN, SDANN, rMSSD, PNN50; HRV frequency domain indexs:TP,VLF, LF, HF, LF/HF. All data using SPSS17.0statistical software forstatistical analysis.Measurement data using mean±SD, Measurement datais compared between groups using t test, p<0.05means the differencewas statistically significant.Results1. HR gradually slowed down with age increaseing in thecontrol group.Compared with control group, VMC group in each agephase of the24h of the slowest HR are faster (p <0.01), the fastest HRare slower (p <0.01), the mean HR without statistically different ofinfancy, the preschool and school-age are faster (p <0.01), adolescenceare slower (p <0.05).2. The comparison of24h DCG for time domainparameter values of VMC group and control group according to age andgender. Compared with the control group, SDNN in addition to femaleadolescents, are lower, the difference is statistically significant; SDANNin infancy and preschool age female,child care and preschool male arelower, the difference is statistically significant; RMSSD in infancyandchild care and preschool age female, school age and adolescence male increases, the difference is statistically significant; PNN50in infants andchild care and preschool male are lower, the difference is statisticalsignificance.3. The comparison of24h DCG for frequency domainparameter values of VMC group and control group according to age andgender. Compared with control group, the TP in infancy, child caremale,preschool-age and school age female are lower, the difference havestatistical significance; VLF in infancy female and child care male arelower, the difference have statistical significance; LF in infancy and childcare male are lower, the difference have statistically significant; HF ininfancy female, school-age are lower,the difference have statisticalsignificance; LF/HF in preschool and school-age male are lower, thedifference have statistical significance.Conclusion1.In this study, we analyse HRV in Children with viralmyocarditis according to child age stages and gender stratification,which hasn’t reported in China.2.HRV decrease in infant period is themost obvious, preschool and school-age are also decrease, adloscence isnot obvious.
