Objective:horsetail nerve were studied with MRI structure, morphology andgo line, to get imaging information for the surgical treatment of caudaequina nerve syndrome (CES).Materials and methods:Selected from August2009to August2009, Bethune medicalcollege jilin university first hospital patients80cases, including57menand23women, age range of20to40years old, the minimum age is21years old, aged38, an average of31years old, spinal deformity, novertebral fractures and the lesion of the nervous system of the shift, thereis no clear. Using GE DiscoveryTM MR7503.0T magnetic resonanceimaging machine to head scans of subjects, the image on to AW VolumeShare after4AW4.5workstations before processing, were observed. Tolook at the results and the related parameters is measured after the3dreconstruction, and use of statistical software for data processing. Results:1. L2-S1root of spinal nerve around splitting respectively:L2ventral root was0.5±0.1mm, after root was1.2±0.1mm; Before theL3root was0.7±0.2mm, after root was1.4±0.3mm; L4root was0.6±0.1mm, before after the root was1.4±0.7mm; Before the L5root was0.6±0.2mm, after the root for the1.5±0.6mm; Before theS1root was0.5±0.1mm, after root was1.5±0.3mm.2. lumbosacral nerve roots inferior and posterior rallying pointdistance from the export of nerve’s lift side is: L2was15.6±2.4mm;L3was16.7±2.5mm; L4was18.4±1.7mm; L5was19.7±3.1mm;The S117.3±2.9mm. On the right side: L2was15.4±1.3mm; L3is15.3±1.8mm; L4was19.6±2.3mm; L5was19.4±2.6mm; TheS116.9±2.7mm.3.L1-S2segmental nerve roots go through in the canalisspinalis, the distance of attachment is: L1:12.2±3.3mm、L2:15.4±2.5mm、L3:17.5±3.0mm、L4:18.8±3.7mm、L5:21.8±3.0mm、 S1:24.3±4.5mm、S2:20.4±3.2mm. The attachment distance of anteriorroot and posterior root is L1:7.8±1.7mm、L2:10.4±2.0mm、L3:13.0±2.2mm、L4:15.0±3.0mm、L5:18.0±3.8mm、S1:22.5±3.7mm、S2:18.1±3.6mm.4.spinal cord cone under extremely flat section of vertebraldistribution is:Edge of central flat for L1in4cases, in64cases, and thereare8cases in central flat for L2, nozzles in4cases,we can see that mostpeople are of the conus medullaris under extremely flat for L1, accountsfor about79.12%.5.lumbar sacral2-2section followed by enter the spinal cordAngle:Order from L2-S2is:21±3degrees,20±4degrees,21±3degrees,24±3degrees,23±2degrees,7±3degrees, suddenly to S2Angle smaller, almost parallel to the spine.6.All landowners lumbar sacral1-2each neural spikes the halfwaypoint of the wire through the corresponding spinal segment to thedistance between the edge of T11to L1in turn:7.3±6.4mm, L2:5.0±7.7mm, L3:15.6±8.6mm, L4:24.6±8.9mm, L5:33.5±10.0mm, S1:40.5±11.9mm, S2:55.0±12.8mm; Lumbar sacral1-2each neuralspikes the halfway point of the wire through the corresponding spinalsegment, in to the distance between the edge of T12L1:33.0±7.5mm,L2:20.9±6.6mm, L3:12.4±7.3mm, L4:2.6±8.4mm, L5:-5.5±10.0mm, S1:-12.3±10.1mm, S2:-25.0±10.9mm.(‘-’ means below of thestandard)Conclusion:1.MRI will observe the location of the cauda equina nerve, can carryon the specific location, to the root of backbone nerve around is helpful inunderstanding, on the basis of anatomical structure, treatment of caudaequina nerve and nerve syndrome have a more in-depth understanding.2.3d CISS to spinal nerve root and its front and back of the3dstereo display, more intuitive, on how best to avoid injury in the contextof the surgical treatment for peripheral nerve has a good guidingsignificance.3. Spinal cord cone at the lower end of the physiological state ofsuspended in cerebrospinal fluid, the use of MRI can be better carried on the localization and achieved in vivo without image and data record.
