Purpose:The study tested total reaction time of biceps brachii in different levels of contraction force and fatigue to test the influence of contraction force and fatigue on total reaction time. Based on the results, the study provided theoretical guidance to the sports which need rapid response ability. Methods:The experiment selected12men from soochow university, then tested the response of the biceps brachii with CON-TREX muscle strength test systems, BIOVISION movement bioelectricity test system and light signaling device. We collected and recorded the sEMG signal of biceps brachii, and then learned the data of TRT, EMD and PMT from it with Dasylab10.0package program. One-Way ANOVA was used to analysis the data, and statistical significance was set to0.05.Results:1.EMD is influenced by the the contraction level, it changed when using different contraction level; EMD value decrease with the rise of contraction level;2.PMT and TRT is not influenced by the the contraction level, the study have not found any connection between them.3.Muscular fatigue elongated EMD; The EMD value were significantly longer after muscular fatigue; There were no statistical significances in different kinds of muscular fatigue for EMD.4.The TRT and PMT value were not changed after muscular fatigue; There were no statistical significances in different kinds of muscular fatigue for TRT and PMT.Conclusions:1.EMD value decrease significantly with the rise of contraction level, The reason behind it is the the existence of serial elastic components; As the contraction level is low, EMD value decreased significantly with the increase of contraction force; When Contraction force is in a high level, the EMD value no longer reduce.2.PMT and TRT is not influenced by the the contraction level. Although contraction level could influence EMD, there were no statistical significances in TRT of different contraction level. 3.EMD was lengthened by fatigue; There were no statistical significances in different kinds of muscular fatigue for EMD.4.The TRT and PMT value were not changed after muscular fatigue; For EMD, it is had to bring about change to TRT as it take a low percentage in TRT.
