ObjectiveTo detect immunohistochemical SP assay of CCR7(chemokines receptor7, of CCR7)in thyroid papillary microcarcinoma (Thyroid papillary microcarcinoma,PTMC), diameter>1cm papillary thyroid cancer, nodular goiter and normal thyroid tissue, respectively, toexplore the expression of CCR7in thyroid papillary microcarcinoma with diameter>1cmpapillary thyroid cancer with the patients’ age, gender, tumor size, multifocal, violations ofthe thyroid capsule, lymph node metastasis and metastatic sites.MethodsThe study of the Jinan Military General Hospital, thyroid, breast surgery surgicaltreatment of31cases of papillary thyroid micro-carcinoma tissue samples from January2001to December2007,34cases of diameter>1cm papillary thyroid cancer specimens,34cases specimens of nodular goiter and normal thyroid gland in34cases of adjacentnoncancerous tissue samples by immunohistochemical SP method to detect CCR7inthyroid papillary microcarcinoma, diameter>1cm papillary thyroid carcinoma in nodulargoiter and cancer next to normal expression in thyroid tissue at low magnification (×100)randomly selected10field of view and high magnification (×400) counts,100cancer cellsper field record, calculate the percentage of positive cells, and then take the10fields ofvision The average percentage as the percentage of positive cells in the specimens withvarious staining intensity and the expression product of the percentage of positive intensityand expressed CCR7expression intensity, using SPSS13.0statistical package forstatistical analysis of CCR7expression and clinical pathological features of therelationship.ResultsThe CCR7in31cases of thyroid papillary microcarcinoma positive expression rate of100%, diameter>1cm papillary thyroid carcinoma, positive rate was100%, the differencewas not statistically significant (P>0.05), in nodular goiter and normal thyroid tissue, CCR7 positive expression rate of64.7%and17.6%compared with small papillary thyroid cancerhas a very significant statistical significance (P <0.05).CCR7expression in thyroid papillarymicrocarcinoma patients’ gender, age, violations of the thyroid capsule, tumor multifocal(P>0.05) independent of CCR7in thyroid papillary microcarcinoma with lymph nodemetastasis was positive expression rate of100%, expressed in the group without lymphnode metastasis-positive rate was100%, both compared to a statistically significantdifference (P>0.05) of CCR7expression.expression of CCR7in diameter>1cm papillarythyroid carcinoma in patients’ gender, age, violations of the thyroid capsule, tumormultifocal (P>0.05) independent of CCR7in thyroid papillary cancer with lymph nodemetastasis group expression was100%, in the group without lymph node metastasispositive rate was100%.ConclusionCCR7expression showed high expression of papillary thyroid carcinoma in thyroidpapillary microcarcinoma diameter>1cm, both may have the same biological characteristicscan be used the same surgical approach. CCR7expression and patient gender, age multifocal tumors, violations of thethyroid capsule had no correlation withlymph nodemetastasis, but no correlation with the metastatic sites.
