| Objective: To understand the distribution and behavior characteristic on HIV infected byheterosexual transmission during recent years in Hubei Province. For provide a scientific basisfor the prevention of HIV/AIDS.Methods: It was investigated that socio-demographic characteristics, high-risk behaviorsexposure history and heterosexual behaviors patter on the HIV infected by heterosexualtransmission from July1st,2010to June30th,2011in Hubei Province.Results: Infection way by permanent sexual partners, casual sexual partners and commercialsexual partners were23.5%,28.8%and47.5%respectively in412HIV/AIDS who was Meetingsample criteria and was Informed and being consentaneous. The rates of nonuse condom amongthese three sexual behaviors partners were62.9%,6.2%and2.5%respectively, with statisticalsignificance (P<0.05). The main reason of nonuse condom was thinking condoms to beunnecessary, having no condoms at hand and unwilling use condom of sex partner respectivelyin permanent sex behaviors, casual sex behaviors and commercial sex behaviors. There wereapparent differences comparing the reasons of nonuse condom different kind of sexual behaviorspattern (P<0.05).Conclusion: Commercial sex behavior is the main heterosexual transmission way of HIV inHubei Province. To prevention and control HIV infection in Hubei province, which suggestedthat key point is to strengthen the interference of condom using according to thesocio-demographic characteristics of heterosexual transmission. |
