Tumor is divided into benign and malignant tumors, malignanttumors seriously endanger health, it has become the first killer ofhuman deaths, exceeded the cardiovascular disease. At present, the maintreatment method include surgical operation, chemotherapy, radiationtherapy, gene therapy, etc. chemical therapy is widely used,it is the maintreatment for tumor. but at the same time, the chemotherapy’s drugs haveserious toxic, damage to the structure and function of normal tissue andreflect the adverse reaction on the clinical syndrome. seriously affect thenormal work of organs, eventually leading to death, that limits the use ofchemotherapy’s drugs, so It has been the pharmaceutical researchers’sgoal to search for potent and low toxicity chemotherapy’s drugs. The experiment focuses on doxorubicin prodrug STL (STL) withdoxorubicin (DOX) compared with the activity of tumor cells and in the mechanism of tumor cell uptake, distribution was compared in tumorcells. The experimental methods and results are as follows:1using themethod of MTT check the toxicity compared STL with the potentantitumor drug DOX on the tumor cells: prostate cancer PC3, lungcancer A549, colon cancer stem cells;2Flow cytometry was used tocompare STL with DOX absorbed by tumor cells: prostate cancerPC3,lung cancer A549and colon cancer stem cells;3Use fluorescenceconfocal observation of STL with DOX’s comparison in the cell. Resultsshowed that STL is a potent antitumor drug, better than DOX.
