Objective: Research on clinical efficacy of Tonifying Kidney Herbscombined with lamivudine in HBeAg+choronic hepatitis B patients.Method: using randomized controlled methods, clinical study wascarried out in60cases of HBeAg positive patients,30cases ofobservation group were given Bushen recipe+lamivudine treatment,30patients of control group were given lamivudine treatment, treatmentfor24weeks, the two groups at the beginning and at twenty fourthweeks, blood tests of HBV-M and liver function, HBV-DNA andobservation B ultrasound results and safety index. Results: when the treatment completion, the negative conversion rateof hepatitis B virus DNA and e antigen and the e antigenseroconversion were no statistically significant difference(P>0.05) inthe comparison of lamivudine and the traditional Chinese Medicinegroup and the control group. Traditional Chinese medicine andlamivudine group in the recovery of liver function and lamivudine groupcompared no statistically significant difference, P>0.05. The overalltreatment efficiency were no statistically significant differene betweenthe two groups P<0.05. Adverse reactions and hepatic fibrosis andcirrhosis were not found in two groups of patients when we analyse thesafety index. Discussion:In the negative conversion rate of HBV-DNA, HBeAgnegative conversion rate and the seroconversion rate there were nostatistically significant differernce between the two groups. The indexvalues of treatment group were increased significantly compared withthe control group.
