Objective: To study the protective effects and the mechanisms of Yiqi HuoxueRecipe for the acute high altitude pulmonary edema.Methods:80healthy male SD rats were randomly divided into blank controlgroup, model group, Rhodiola group and Yiqihuoxue groups of20. Each groupwere orally administered once a day for consecutive3days. Except the blankcontrol group, the other groups were put in a Hypoxic chamber, simulated altitudeof6000m, hypothermia and hypoxia72h. When modeling after the end of thelow-pressure oxygen chamber for pulmonary arterial pressure, lung wet/dry,arterial blood gases, coagulation, fibrinolytic system and lung tissue biopsyobservation.Result1The model of rat acute high altitude pulmonary edema: In the modelingexperiment, compared with the blank control group, model group pulmonaryartery pressure, pulmonary wet-dry ratio significantly increased, oxygensaturation, oxygen partial pressure decreased,lung biopsy revealed alveolarpulmonary edema,to prove the rat model of acute high altitude pulmonary edemawas build success.2. preventive effect(1) pulmonary artery pressure(PAP): Compared with the blank control group, thePAP of model group, rhodiola group were elevated (P <0.05or P <0.01); theYiqihuoxue group compared with the blank control group, no significantdifference and was not statistically significance (P>0.05). compared With themodel group and Rhodiola group Yiqihuoxue group was significantly lower thanthe others groups (P <0.05or P <0.01). (2) Arterial blood gas: compared with the blank control group, the PO2of modelgroup, rhodiola group and Yiqihuoxue group were lower than the blank controlgroup (P <0.01), compared with the model group, the PO2of Rhodiola group andQiqi Huoxue group were significant increased (P <0.01); compared with rhodiolagroup, the PO2of Yiqihuoxue group no statistically difference (P>0.05);compared with the blank control group, the SO2model group, rhodiola group andYiqihuoxue groups were not statistically different (P>0.05); compared with themodel group, the SO2of rhodiola group and Yiqihuoxue group were significantincreased (P <0.01); compared with rhodiola group, the SO2of Yiqihuoxue groupwas not statistically significant (P>0.05).(3) The wet to dry ratio(W/D): Compared with the blank control group, the W/Dof model group was significantly increased (P <0.05), the W/D of rhodiola groupand Yiqihuoxue group were no significant changes and no statistical significance(P>0.05); compared with the model group, the W/D of Rhodiola group andYiqihuoxue group were significantly decreased (P <0.01); compared with rhodiolagroup, the W/D ofYiqihuoxue group was not statistically significant (P>0.05).(4) coagulation and fibrinolysis system: t-PA indicators: compared with the blankcontrol group, the t-PA of model group, Rhodiola group and Yiqihuoxue groupwere significant increased (P <0.01); compared with the model group,the t-PA ofrhodiola group, was not statistically difference (P>0.05);the t-PA of Yiqihuoxuegroup was higher than the model group and rhodiola group (P <0.01). DDindicators: compared with the blank control group, the DD of model group,Rhodiola group and Yiqihuoxue group were significantly increased (P <0.01); theDD level among of model group, Rhodiola group and Yiqihuoxue group, thedifference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). FG indicators: comparedwith the blank control group, the FG of Rhodiola group and Yiqihuoxue groupwere increased (P <0.05), FG content model group and blank control groupshowed no significant difference (P>0.05); the FG content of model group,Rhodiola group and Yiqihuoxue group were showed no significant difference and not statistically significant (P>0.05). ET-1indicators: compared with the blankcontrol group, the ET-1content of model group, Rhodiola group and Yiqihuoxuegroup were significantly increased (P <0.01); compared with model group, the ET-1content of rhodiola group were significantly decreased (P <0.01), the ET-1content of Yiqihuoxue group were significantly increased, but it was notstatistically significant (P>0.05); compared with rhodiola group, the ET-1contentof Yiqihuoxue group significant increased(P <0.01).(5) lung tissue and pathological observation: visual observation of the blankcontrol group lung tissue volume in size, lung membrane soft and smooth, thecolor pink, the pressure of elastic. Cut no fluid leakage, trachea, bronchi werenormal, no mucosal bleeding; model group lungs swelling, surface moist, lungmembrane tension, dark red color, the pressure of fulfilling, cut a pink foamyliquid outflow, trachea and bronchi mucosal congestion; rhodiola group slightlyvisible lung tissue swelling, more humid surface, cut a small amount of pale redliquid outflow part tracheal mucosa hyperemia; Yiqihuoxue lungs were observedin soft, cut no liquid outflow, trachea, bronchi no mucosal congestion.Light microscope: The blank control group showed alveolar structural integrity,alveolar and interstitial hemorrhage and without edema; model group showedincreased alveolar interval, widened alveolar most visible red liquid, significantcongestion, edema; red Sedum groups are displayed as widened alveolar septum,alveolar edema; Yiqihuoxue group was no bleeding and alveolar edema, alveolarsepta slightly widened.Conclusion:1. The rat model of acute high altitude pulmonary edema were successful set upby putting the wister rats in hypobaric chamber and hypothermia for72h.2. Yiqi Huoxue recipe may ihibit pulmonary hypertension, reduce pulmonaryartery pressure.3. Yiqi Huoxue recipe reduce the rats of acute high altitude pulmonary edema inW/D, Reduce pulmonary edema. 4. Yiqi Huoxue recipe, can improve the rats of HAPE arterial blood gas SO2, Pa02,improve respiratory function.5Yiqi Huoxue recipe, show no significant effect.on the rats of acute high altitudepulmonary edema in coagulation and fibrinolysis systems.6Yiqi Huoxue recipe can only significantly reduce the rats of acute high altitudepulmonary edema in dyspnea, enhanced hypoxic tolerance, improve the bodyhypoxia.
