The Relationship Between The Serum Uric Acid And The Incident And Progression Of The Diabetic Nephropathy In Type2Diabetes Mellitus

ObjectiveTo study the relationship between the serum uric acid level and the the incident and progression of the diabeic nephropathy in type2diabetes mellitus patients.MethodsAll the samples are selected from the outpatients and inpatients of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University of the past two years.While30cases of simple type2diabetes which HbAlC is between4%and6.5%when admitted in hospital were randomly chosen as the diabetes mellitus (DM) group,30cases of simple hyperuricemia patients as the hyperuricemia (HUA) group,30cases of type2diabetes mellitus with hyperuricemia patients which HbAlC<6.5%as the diabetes mellitus with hyperuricemia (DM-HUA) group, and the other30cases from the healthy physical examination department as normal control (NC) group.Using the automatic biochemistry analyzer to test the level of the serum creatinine(Cr)、the blood urea nitrogen(BUN)、the β-2microglobulin、the serum uric acid(UA)、serum total cholesterol(TC)、triglyceride(TG)、HDL-c、LDL-c, and the urinary-albumin-to creatinine-ratio(ACR). And then calculating all the individuals’ heights and weights to get their body mass index (BMI). At last did the statistical analysis and got the results.ResultsThe DM-HUA group has the higher level of TC、TG、LDL-c、ACR than the other three groups(the DM group, the HUA group and the NC group),and has the lower level of HDL-c,but the BMI and blood concentration of creatinine (Cr) is higher than the DM group and NC group(p<0.05);the HUA group only has higher concentration of BUN and serum creatinine than the NC group (p<0.05);and then the linear regression analysis shows that the serum uric acid (UA) is the main influence factor of the ACR(R2=0.5027,p<0.000)Conclusions1.Hyperuricemia is high correlated with the dyslipidemia and overweight of the patients, and is the significant risk factor of dyslipidemia and overweight.2.Serum uric acid(UA) is the main risk factor of the ACR and the independent risk factor of the early diabetic nephropathy.3.The kidney damage of T2DM with hyperuricemia patients is severer than the simple T2DM group, the hyperuricemia could promote the progression of kidney damage in the type2diabetes mellitus.
