The Anti-Viral Activity And Component Analysis Of Alternanthera Phibxeroides Effective Fractions Of Extracts

Alternanthera philoxeroides [Alternanthera Alternanthera(Mart.) Griseb] is Amaranthaceae Alternanthera (Amaranthaceae)(Alternanthera) perennial herb.Alternanthera philoxeroides andits injection has received are set out in the1977edition of ChinesePharmacopoeia,with clearing and detoxifying, cooling blood anddiuretic efficacy.And in clinical,they have been used for thetreatment of disease which caused by a virus,such as influenza,epidemic hemorrhagic fever and so on. Based on its pharmacology andclinical reseach, the results show that the alkaloids and phenolicacids (including Flavonoids and organic acid) are anti-viralsubstances parts;the extraction and purification process ofAlternanthera philoxeroides effective fractions of extracts andits quality standards have been studied. Using AleternantheraPhiloxeroidera effective fractions of extracts as a researth object,this paper has studied its anti-virus pharmacological effect andthe component analysis.Using MTT and combining observed under the microscope,studiedthe pharmacological activity in vitro anti-influenza virus ofAlternanthera philoxeroides effective fractions of extracts.Theresults show that Alternanthera Philoxeroides effective fractionsof extracts have certain anti-influenza virus.The results of thisstudy further validate the efficacy material foundation of Alternanthera philoxeroides,and provide the basis for thereasonable of the extraction and purification process ofAlternanthera philoxeroides effective fractions of extracts.Because of the alkaloids and phenolic acids (includingFlavonoids and organic acid) are the anti-viral substances partsof Alternanthera philoxeroides,we have used modern analyticalmethod to study the content of those components.The results showthat the content of the alkaloids is24.4%;the phenolic acids(including Flavonoids and organic acid）is5.95%.The study showsthat Alternanthera philoxeroides effective fractions of extractsenriched the anti-viral effective components.And this study alsohas laid a good foundation for its development of anti-viral Chinesemedicine.
