| The corps literature makes their special sense in Chinese contemporary literaturehistory. Dong Libo’s novels play important parts in the corps literature. His novels areunique by their poetic language，fresh style and deep observation to the system ofXinjiang production and construction corps. Early corps literature can not reflectpeople’s lives truly because of the influence of political factors. Nowadays, Dong Libo tries to shows us the real life in Xinjiang production and construction corpsthrough extreme confrontation between sex and power. Love is a common subject inhis novels. Based on “power”,“love”,“sufferings” in Dong Libo’s novels, this papercompare his novels to the early corps literature systematically and explore the strikingera trait. Meanwhile the linguistic style, the truth of his story, the limits and the valueof his novels are important issues in this paper. |
