Contrastive Research Of Lexical Cohesion Devices In Chinese And Uyghur Texts

This thesis basis on the theory of Halliday,s lexical collocation, chooses the lexicalcohesive devices of Chinese and Uyghur as entry point,research those corpus, foundout the cohesive function of the lexical cohesive devices and found that there aresimilarities and differences in lexical cohesive devices in both Chinese and Uyghur,to investigate the reason of the distinction in order to promote the bilingual teachingof the xin jiang.The thesis consists of five chapters with the arrangement as the following：chapter1is forword that introduces introduces basic concepts and the method of the research.Chapter2analyses on the corpus of Chinese and Uyghur, discussed the cohesivefunction of lexical reiteration cohesive device in Chinese and Uyghur. Chapter3discussed the cohesive function of lexical collocation cohesive device in Chinese andUyghur. Chapter4lexical cohesive devices are applied in the text of Chinese andUyghur and to the enlightenment of bilingual teaching. Chapter5is the conclusion.Review the function of lexical cohesive device in the Chinese and Uyghur, but alsopoints out the limitation of the thesis.
