The paper starts with the fundamental conception of oceanic society. This paper attempts todetermine a fundamental definition of oceanic society and research the manifest of Zhejiangprovince’s oceanic society，including people’s oceanic life, oceanic faith system and oceanicconsciousness in this coastal areas. In this period, people in Zhejiang province’s coastal areasdependent more and more on ocean, which has been one of the most important survivalfundamental substances. With the increasing abilities of exploitation, people in Zhejiang provincecoastal areas have developed a complex system of different oceanic faiths. The formations ofoceanic faith shown people in these areas have possessed strong oceanic consciousness. On thebasis of period, the Zhejiang province oceanic society went into a maturity stage.The first chapter of this paper previous question is the fundamental conception of oceanicsociety. By the standard of Zhejiang province oceanic society formation, considering that Zhejiangprovince oceanic society had been formed. Zhejiang province been in an advantageous position ofoceanic natural resources which providing abundant fundamental substance for survival. The forth chapter research that in the Hemudu andKuahuqiao cultural heritage period, people in Zhejiang province’s coastal areas have alreadysprouted oceanic consciousness. They regarded ocean as necessity for life. In Song and Yuanperiod, strong oceanic consciousness in some poems had been expressed. In Ming and Qing period,oceanic consciousness had been strongly formed in Zhejiang province’s coastal areas people. Meanwhile, Maritime Silk Road went into a prosperity stage. The coastal areas people contact withseaside country more and more. As the same time, China had been worldwide. The fifth chapterresearch that with the development of navigation and the mature of channel making more and moreZhejiang province people went into seaside. In this period, Zhejiang province oceanic society hadalready been formed and went into a mature stage.
