In today’s art and design, the overall design has a very important position. A good design must follow the principle of the whole. By the "eye position" into a whole, which is not only a way, but it also can enhance the overall beauty.Books are carrying human culture and the dissemination of knowledge. In today’s increasingly digital age, books have penetrated into all areas of people’s lives, book design also presents a wide range of aesthetic trends. A good book not only attracted and moved readers from the contents and the form of the book, but also to meet the personalized requirements of readers, which require the contemporary book designer has good conception and idea, to full performance of the personalization of books. This paper introduced the concept "eye position" into the book design, and puts forward that "eye position" led to the personalized performance of book design, that is the starting point of the design, or say the inspiration of the design, or say the discovery of design experience led to the personalized performance of book design. Therefore, the "eye position" role should not be underestimated.Based on the current theory and the practical results of book design and integrated use of the related theory of Design Arts, Communication Studies, Psychology, and Technology aesthetics, to do an in-depth analysis and research on the personalized performance of book design.
