The Application Of Chinese Songs To Short-term TCSL

With the soaring popularity of Chinese, an increasing number of people have come to China to learn Chinese, which boosts the development of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language(TCSL).Researches from many fields have been finding out that the ties between music and language are intertwined. Many successful experiments have shown that it is quite possible to apply music to language teaching and learning, both in English and Chinese.On the basic analysis of previous theoretical and experimental results, this thesis is trying to establish a kind of model of teaching Chinese song in short-term TCSL.
