This thesis compares different modes of teamwork in enterprises underindividualism and collectivism culture by analyzing the cultural backgrounds as wellas their impact on personal values and mindsets. In times of globalization, no workcan be done without teamwork. However, teamwork in enterprises underindividualism culture also bring individualism characteristics. It differ from teamworkunder collectivism culture in terms of work modes and efficiency. Through the studyof such cultural differences and differences in working modes, the analysis of relevantcons and pros serves as a good guide for devising more scientific way of trainingworkers, which enhance the efficiency of work.One of the social benefits of teamwork is personal satisfaction in seeing a projectthrough completion with a set of people. As parts are given out and bits and piecescome in to make a whole, each team member gets the social benefit of the goalattained and the personal satisfaction that they were a contributing part of the overallprocess. Another social benefit of teamwork is the self-identification a group projectcan give to each individual team member. Through following specific tasks andcontributing to a group, we learn more about ourselves and how we function asworkers and socially as human beings. Working with a difficult team member isanother great social benefit. It teaches how to work with other difficult members ofour lives, such as family members, co-workers, spouses and others we encounterthrough the journey of life.
