Up till now, Shang ma Cemetery is the largest and best preserved cemetery of the Western and Eastern Zhou Dynasty in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River. The copper fu, bronze socketedaxes and rings cutter are the common objects of north minority cultures. This article focus on the pottery Li, divides it into four groups:typical north objects, the imitation objects, the artifacts have close relation with the ancient civilization of Shanxi and its west regions and the artifacts of mixed characteristics. The article also analyzes human bones of Shang Ma Cemetery.This paper takes the artifacts of north minority culture elements as the study objects, divides those objects into periods by stages and summarizes the main kinds. According the study results, the culture of Shang Ma Cemetery is relatively simple in Western Zhou Dynasty. Until enters into the Spring and Autumn Period, this place may be in the state of unenlightened and underdevelopment. After that periods, the external culture enters into the Shang Ma Cemetery. This place changed into the open condition and the local culture became more complex.The related study is mainly about the complex directions of the Shang Ma Cemetery. This article is devoted to the discussion of whether the ancient north culture of the Shang Ma Cemetery is the local culture or the external culture. It turned out to be the phenomenon of the external culture and the bronze ritual vessels both exist in the tombs has related with the HuanShu made baron in Quwo.Through the study of geography relationship between Jin and Rong and Di, we get more understanding of the in the aspects of wars, political policy, political marriages, talents and economic and cultural exchanges. Through the analysis of those materials, we get the the spiritual journey of north minority cultures, which enters into the country of Jin.
