It will take you traveled theHeaven, the Earth and the People Realms. The first critique take you traveled thephenomenal world; the second critique take you traveled the body world; and thethird critique will take you to the Realm from the beauty of the philosophy. In theacademia, there are enormous works and thesis studying on the first critique and thesecond critique, however, the studying on the third critique is inadequate. Even it isregarded as only an aesthetic writings. There is a very important significance infurther researching in the Critique of Judgment, especially in Judgment of Taste. Onthe one hand, it will help us clarify the important position of judgment of taste inKants philosophy, on the other hand, it will help us master the important significanceof the judgment of taste. In chapter1, to explore the bridge between the natural world and the freedomworld is demonstrating the inner connection of the third critique works and the logicof the development of Kants thought. The Critique of Pure Reason, i.e. theoreticalreason is to recognize the natural world. The Critique of Practical Reason, i.e. thepractical reason is to recognize the freedom world. The Critique of Judgment, i.e.judgment is the bridge of the two worlds. In chapter2,“The Content of the Judgment of Taste†includes three parts, theyare “the transition from beauty to sublimeâ€,“the transition from the pure beauty tothe dependent beauty†and “the judgment of taste is to communicate with the twoclosed worldâ€. It demonstrates in this chapter that the goal which Kant want toachieve through critiquing the judgment of taste is to complete the transition fromthe true to the beauty and the transition from the beauty to the good. And the secondtransition is more significant for us. There are two processes in this transition: on theone hand, it is the transition from beauty to sublime; on the other hand, it is thetransition from pure beauty to independent beauty. In chapter3,“The Significance of Judgment of Taste†includes three parts, theyare “the human nature is beautiful and sublimeâ€,“keep the non-utilitarian attitude ofaesthetic†and “the real theme of philosophy is the identity of the human and thenatureâ€. It demonstrates in this chapter that the beauty gives us happiness;meanwhile the sublime gives us awe. Judgment should serve itself, but not serve forepistemology. Judgment should have its concept and rule. And only in the judgmentof taste, can it realize. What Kant want to solve is the identity of the human and thenature, and it is the real theme of philosophy. It demonstrates in Conclusion that judgment of taste is not to teach you how toappreciate the beautiful, although it is helpful in it. Judgment of taste makes us notstate our reality in the objectivity. Its specialty is that the human is not purelyemotional beings, but not purely rational beings. The human is unity of theemotional and the rational. The judgment of the human is a kind of emotionjudgment and it is related with emotional competence. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Judgment of taste, purposiveness without purpose, beautify, sublime | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
