This article investigates the language learning strategies (LLS)of80Medium‐level Russian students on their Chinese listening comprehension (CLC) achievements through the questionnaire surveys and interviews. They are from JiLin University,YanShan University, Beihua University,North China Institute of Science and Technology and Northeast Normal University. The data are analyzed by SPSS software in detail. The analysis are about the Medium‐level Russian students’Language Learning Strategies in the process of listening comprehension, the relationship between learning strategies and scores and the difference between high score students and less score students. At last some advice have been given on teaching classes.According to the data, the results show that the most frequently used learning strategy is cognitive strategy, followed by social affective, the most easily overlooked is the metacognitive strategy. Three kinds of strategies and listening scores are positively correlated, while all the kinds of strategies and listening scores showed significant correlation. High‐score and less‐score students in the using of metacognitive strategy exist huge difference. The major difficulties of students in the listening process are misunderstanding of grammatical meaning and the true meaning,differences in cultural background,,missing the main informations, and too many new words. This article consists of six parts, Chapter One is the introduction which introduces the origin and meaning of the topic. Chapter Two introduces the definition of learning strategy, classification and relevant researches. Chapter Third introduces the main problems to be solved, as well as the research objects, research tools, research variables,results and statistical methods. Chapter Fourth is the analysis of results, Chapter Fifth is a discussion and summary, Chapter Sixth is some advice on the Chinese listening teaching. The future research direction is put forward to.
