Although Florence and hermother apart,her mother says the important words again and again.Because of blacksmith,Florence becomes self--awareness and grow up.She is no longer resign herself toadversity.contrarily,she makes a fresh start in her life bravely and sturdily.A Mercy tells that the spiritual freedom is very important, whatever one’sbody.This novel describes the history of blood and tears when the Blacks Americans leftthe Africa.The author of this paper make an analysis of feminine self--identity at thepoint of post--colonial.
