From the perspective of history, this paper studies the Jewish impacts on Britishmandate in Palestine from1917to1948.Since the Diaspora, there have been many attempts to re-establish a homelandfor the Jewish people. Although exiled from Palestine since586BC, they remainedfaithful to it in all the countries of their dispersion, never ceasing to pray and hope fortheir return and the restoration of their national freedom. Thirty-one years’ Britishmandate from1917to1948over Palestine was a turning point for the Jews to re-buildan independent country of their own. This paper for the first time tries to analyze Jewish economic and politicalimpacts over British mandate policy making in Palestine to explain that theimplementation and adjustment of these polices depended to a large extent on Jewishactivities, rather than British self-interest. Beginning with a study of Jewish roots inPalestine, the paper explores how the Jews promoted British pro-Jew policies step bystep and finally established Israel. From the generous capital donation of Rothschildfamily, the excellent diplomatic skills of Herzl and Weizmann, the outstandingleadership of Ben Gurion, to the violence methods of Jabotinsky and Stern, manyinfluential Jews united together to positively promote British mandate policies. At lastUnited Nation decided to carry out its partition plan in Palestine and Israel wasestablished.Today the situation in Middle East is quite turbulent, especially the neverceasing Israeli-Palestinian fighting. The origin of their conflict could be traced back tothe Jewish-Arabian territory dispute in the period of British mandate in Palestine. Thus, it is worthwhile to make a research on this history since it is important to solvethe current Israeli-Palestinian problems.
