The Study On Linguistics Style Of The Lyrics In"Chinese-Style" By Fang Wenshan

With the increasing of the Pop music, its influence is powerful increasingly. The lyric is the object of the Linguistics all the time as the special use of the language expression. Representing the most of the lyricist, Wenshan Fang raised the creation trend in the "Chinese-Style". And the "Chinese-Style" has been popular in the people. This paper will classify the lyric in the "Chinese-Style" by Fang after understanding the definition of the "Chinese-Style". Then we pick up the lyric for Jay to analyze. Base on the previous studies, this paper will analyze the specific style of the "Chinese-Style" from the aspects of the Prosody, Variation rhetoric, Thematic and the patterns of thematic progression.Firstly, we will analyze the lyric from the rhyme, non-sonorant words, and the prosodic words in the Prosody. We will find that Fang pays attention to the Rhyme. He also makes the non-sonorant words collocating with each other. According to the definition by Feng Shengli, we will discuss about the sort of the prosodic words in the lyrics. Using the prosodic words to increase the musical quality is also his ability. Then, from the analysis, we can conclude that the lyric Fang created is common and natural.Secondly, for avoidance of repetition, we will mainly study the lyric through the Variation rhetoric. Fang broke the routine of the expression in his creation, and use the sentences which are in accordance with the rules of grammar, but breaking the semantics content and logic. So we will discuss about the kinds of Variation, such as the variation of Morphology, the variation of Cohesive Unit, the variation of Word Combination, the variation of Sentence parts. Fang applies a lot of figures of speech for the "Chinese-Style", then reworks on the national culture. So people can see the special and novel features on the lyrics of Pop music. With the studies of this aspect, we will find that the lyric by Fang is variegated and innovative.At last, we will study on the style in the aspect of the Theme and the patterns of thematic progression. Single theme and unmarked theme are taken successively in the creation by Fang. From the patterns of thematic progression, his lyric can fall into two categories:Theme identity and Rheme identity. Then we will know that the expression by Fang is simple and clear. His emotion is straightforward and in good order.
