The Ralationship Of Sophistication And Emotional And Behavioral Problems In Adolescents—the Mediating Role Of Peer Attachment And Self-Esteem

ObjectiveThis research attempts to through the attachment and self-esteem two intermediary variable analysis of relations between sophistication and the problems of behavior and emotion in the adolescents.In order to explain how sophistication affect adolescent’s behavior and emotion,and establish the equation to predict the emotion and behavioral problems of teenagers.Method:The whole group of extraction of500junior high school students in a middle school in zhengzhou,use The Chinese Revised Edition of Kiddie Machiavellianism Scale.The Inventory of Parent and Peer-Attachment,The Self-esteem Scales,Strength and Difficulties Questionnaire,Parental Bonding Instrument,to obtain the effective measured data.By using correlation analysis, t test, regression analysis and other statistical method, analyzes and process data.Result:1.Machiavellianism and peer attachment are negatively correlated, Machiavellianism and difficulties are positive correlation,peer attachment and difficulties are negatively correlated.2.Machiavellianism is significantely and negatively correlated with self-esteem, difficulties also is significantely and negatively correlated with self-esteem.3.There are no sex difference and grade difference in the Machiavellianism,peer attachment and difficulties.4.there is no sex difference in self-esteem,is marginally significant grade difference in self-esteem.5.Partial mediating effect of peer attachment between Machiavellianism and the problems of behavior and emotion was significant, and the ratio of mediating effect to total effect was19.66%.6.Partial mediating effect of self-esteem between sophistication and the problems of behavior and emotion was significant, and the ratio of mediating effect to total effect was27.55%. 7.Mother rejection, self-esteem, sophisticated and peer attachment have an important role on the forecast happening of emotional and behavioral problems in adolescents,explained variance reached33.3%.conclusion:Mother rejection and Machiavellianism as risk factors on induce the problems of behavior and emotion of teenagers, and peer attachment and self-esteem as favorable factors on suppress the problems of behavior and emotion of teenagers,will work together to teenagers mood and behavior problems,including Machiavellianism through the self-esteem and peer attachment indirectly affect emotional and behavioral problems.
