The adverb "ke" is used in the Chinese expression with a high frequency. Thereis a higher error rate on using the adverb "may" in foreign students’ works, because itsuse is complex which involves the syntactic, semantic and pragmatic aspects. It isadmitted that there has been a law on the use of "ke" and the reason for high error rateis that the law is not explained very clearly. In this article, we have summarized theerrors of law by the "ke" word error corpus analysis in HSK corpus. We have studiedthe meaning and usage of "ke" word on the basis of research of predecessors. To guideteaching, we will try to turn the existing ontology research results our new conceptinto the teaching results. It consists of five parts: the first part is the definition of thestudy scope, study object and interpretation of study meaning. In modern Chinesedictionary, the “ke” word can be explained “ke1”,“ke2” and “ke3”.“ke2” is studiedas a tone adverb on the basis of Zhu Dexi and Wang Li’s definition of “ke”. Thesecond part is about the summary of research results on “ke” according topredecessors’ study, which is the research of starting point. The third part is about thebasic usage of “ke” in all sentences and the summary of its form and meaning. Wethink the “ke” has a meaning of reminding, which can arose the hearer’s attention. Inconclusion, the “ke” teaching order should follow its internal law.
