The animated films of Ghibli animation studio founded by Hayao Miyazaki have been widely disseminated in the world. The reason why they have got such a huge success, except the impact of good industry environment and excellent production technology, the text content of the animated films also play a more important role. The study makes research on the interpretation of the animated films to observe the phenomenon of culture on display. The study use the method of case studies and focus group interviews to investigate the interpretations of the Chinese and Japanese audiences, then look into the reasons for the spread of Hayao Miyazaki films in China.The main body of this article is divided into three parts.The first section discusses the historical development of Japanese anime and Studio Ghibli created by Miyazaki hayao,then describes the unique features of the films.The second part discusses how the Hayao Miyazaki animated film masterpiece "Spirited Away" interpretated by Japanese audience and Chinese youth audience. The third part distinguish the similarities and differences through the analysis of the Sino-Japanese bilateral audience to accept the text,analyzes the features of the text globally disseminated.Study found that the ages and media experiences affect the method how the audience use the text.Through the film, audiences in Japan and China respectively observed "he"and "mirrorself’. Japanese culture in the film shows Japanese audience their pown roots and Chinese audience only recognize the visual symbols.The films animated by Hayao Miyazaki contain the display of "childhood culture"and "national culture" which help increase the attactivity of the text and make the audiences of different distracts get different interpretations.
