A Study Of "Vwang+O" And Some Related Problems

There are a lot of formats likes "V+P+O" in our Chinese language, the "Vwang+O" as to the course of study.Combined synchronic and diachronic, the thesis study the "Vwang+O" structure and its course on related issues,which many angles of semantic,syntactic and cognitive.This thesis is comprised of six chapters.Chapter One is the introduction.It introduces the objectives of research,research background and methods.Chapter two mainly has synchronic description of "Vwang+O". We respectively describe the verbs and the objects "O",investigating their semantic feature.In the "Vwang+O" structure of the syntactic analysis,examines lexical category of "wang", the syntactic function and the structure constitutes.Chapter three mainly has diachronic description of "Vwang+O".We know preposition are usually come from verbs,so in the chapter we should spend time on the diachronic study of "wang".The vagueness of preposition "wang" in the syntactic forms and meaning of performance. The paper analyses the vagueness mechanism of preposition "wang",mainly because of the syntactic status change as well as meaning of continuous vagueness.Chapter four is lexicalization of "Vwang". We make use of three methods to explore the lexicalization of "Vwang",such as frequently co-occur, lexical decision task and sense of the phrase.The paper analyses the motivation on lexicalization of "Vwang" from the aspects of disyllablize factors,prosodic mechanisms and psychological cognitive.Chapter five may show the constituent order related to prepositional phrases "Wang+O" and motion.Firstly, the paper analyses the prepositional phrase headed by "Wang+O" can be put either before verbs or after verbs. Attempts to analyze the decision factors of "Wang+O" in the sentence position. Then express the motion about "Wang+O""Wang+O+VP" can be used either in factive motion or in fictive motion,while "Vwang+O" is offen used in factive motion.Finally,the paper analyses the difference of factive motion in the two structure.Chapter six is epilogue.It repeats the key research conclusion of the thesis,points out the defects and deficiencies in the research process.
