There is a very common "play modified play" phenomenon in the Ming dynasty intheatrical circles. the plays right to adapt existing Opera works. Such as Li Rihua,CuiShipei, Qin Zhijian in the South of the West Chamber, Zhou Gonglu the Kam of theromance of the West Chamber are Wang Shifu of the adaptation of the West Chamber.Feng Menglong Muo Hanzhai this legend as Feng Shi adaptation sets; Li Kaixian hasadapted sets such as the legend of bona Yuan Xian, These adaptations were the Mingtheatrical circles adaptations typical representative of the performance. Other adaptationssuch as the gold lock kee, the Green shirts in mind, and the decorated Archway JI, LvShuoyuan of the revive in mind etc.All these, together with the foregoing adapted thisformed the basis of adaptations of Opera in the Ming dynasty. Also it is an integral contentof study adaptation phenomena. Adaptation of its reasons, it gave instructions from fourpoints at least:First, a social factor; Second, the adapter attempts to strive forperfection.Third, different drama opinion;Fourth, adapted themselves to other factors. Ofcourse, Ming theatrical circles "play modified play" phenomenon has its positivesignificance, such as enhanced some convergence between the theatre and other stylistic;material transmission and acceptance of conducive to drama; promoted the formation ofsome drama theory and complete, and so on. Also it has negative impacts, such as in someway affect the free development of the theatre itself; in some ways undermined the internalmechanism of the original play;it has deepened in some respects from " song on the field "to " desk literature " trend. Whether positive or negative effects, drama adaptationphenomena in literature and history in the Ming dynasty’s status is not available on thenegative, its adaptation theory is an important component of Chinese classical operatheory; its adaptation is also an important part of classical opera, the two together make upthe history of ancient Chinese literature a splendid landscape.
